Chinese steelyard, 19th century, Dotchin type. Wooden beam 56 cm long with steel tipped ends, wrought iron hook, gallows & indicator; rope fulcra loops. Beam graduated w/inlaid metal dots and lines, and impressed "45" "12S crown S". Identified by Houben.
