German coin scale and weight box, 1748-1789. Box is 12.9 cm long x 10.3 cm wide x 2.5 cm high, and steel beam is 12.2 cm long with 4.1 cm diameter brass pans. The box has 22 of 22 weights. The box label is printed: "Diese geächte Waag und Gewicht macht von Ihro Churfürstl. Durchl. zu Pfalz-Bayern gnädigst privilegirter und geschworner". The maker is Johann Daniel vom Berg.
