Nuremberg nested weights for Austrian use, 16th-17th century. The master cup measures 11.5 cm diameter at the top x 8.8 cm diameter at the bottom x 6.0 cm high. Binary system-500 grams/8 Vienna pounds. Total theoretical weight = 8 Vienna pounds; case = 4 pounds; 2 pounds, 1 pound, 16 loth, 8 loth, 4 loth, 2 loth, 1 loth respectively/cup.
